SRT Security:
– Is familiar with Joint Commission, DNV, and other accreditation requirements
– Helps with yearly and special Risk Assessments
– Provides help with Emergency Management and Crime Prevention Programs
– Work with the EOC Committee
– Helps with creation and implementation of policies and procedures
– Assist Facilities as Needed
– Provides training of hospital clinical and non-clinical staff for Active Shooter, Workplace Violence, and De-escalation
– Develop and instruct specific training for ER, ICU, and PACU staff
– Certifies Security manager in requirements of TXDPS Private Security
– Has its own State Certified Training Academy
– Is familiar with and trained in HCAHPS guidelines to provide a high level of customer service
– Officers receive continuous training at SRT’s expense
– Officers are certified to Level 3 and Site Manager to Level 4 at SRT’s expense
– Officers are required to be certified in ADAPT Basic Hospital Security Officer
